Yes, which is why pippa mentioned the borders.com website... No .au to be seen.

I have emailed Borders USA to see whether they will actually sell to Australia - there are some posts on another thread who have ordered and some who get the message that they can't ship to Australia (just to confuse us).
I am not sure whether Borders.com.au is actually in Australia as books are shipped from Europe! (Just to doubly confuse us!)
I must say I am not happy about ordering from Borders (anywhere) due to their current financial woes and would much rather order from Kobo or an established retail shop.

Can you provide a link to the other thread? I've been following this matter since the KT launched and have personally ordered one from borders.com in the US which has been processed, shipped and should be delivered in the next day or two.

The only time I've seen people report issues with ordering have been when they can't tell the difference between Borders and Barnes & Noble.

Cazmar, there are many of us in NZ and Australia that have ordered a kobo touch via the US borders.com - and I have one right beside me shipped all the way from Indianapolis for $129USD and shipping $9USD (bargain).

I agree, I probably have zero after sale support from borders but as it is so cheap it is a risk I'm happy to take.
