Don't stop looking. ( just posted in the Auto-Update thread (reason not to ).)

Note to those that have had multiple crashes: Run the Maintenance check on your library. I found a Book (Mobi)format I was adding (drag and drop) via the Metadata editor also appeared within the Library root after Calibre crashed (Note: Format was also in the Normal place).

Kovid, is it possible to downgrade to 0.8.6 without problems?

I'm still experiencing random crashes, as I have to open and close the Tag Browser briefly.

I've added many books since upgrading to 0.8.7 and fixed and converted a lot of old ones.

Ok. I'm "only" having tag troubles, which aren't a big deal, but I did have one or two crashes, so I'm considering downgrading.

Since this problem is rather annoying, I've put an updated windows build with the Tag Browser fixes here, so you dont have to wait till Friday:

The Tag Browser was fully refactored and neither chaley nor I can get it to crash anymore, so hopefully it should be solid again.
