I've found that it usually stands just fine no matter what angle i set it at, magnetic strap notwithstanding. But you can always just put something small behind it to hold it up if its causing you issues. Something as light as a coaster should do as the STR hardly weighs anythign.

Custom Covers at Etsy

Hi folks, first post here. Glad to have found this forum.

I too have been looking for an appropriate case...

I found that there are a bunch of interesting, handmade covers for e-readers available at Etsy.com, an online store for makers of handmade and vintage items. There are a multitude of options of fabrics and leathers, both in the book-style case and slip-in cases (which is my preference).

While no one is doing Nook STR cases specifically that I can find, since these things are handmade, it should be no problem for the maker to adapt their case to to the STR's specs.

Most of the cases featured seem to be for the Kindle and the Nook Color. I'm up for one of the leather cases, some of which I can get embossed with my initials. I think it's just a matter of time before we see a plethora of case options for the STR.

I (actually my daughter) ended up getting the Lautner cover. I nice cover, but man is it fat.

It's such a shame; a nice slim, light reader and they can't come up with a "tighter" cover.
