The 100 greatest non-fiction books - Page 2

I've only read The Beauty and the Sublime so far, but I've read a lot of exceprts of Kant's other works. It's impossible not to if you read any other modern philosophers since they all quote from him constantly.

A bit sad to see that Copleston's "History of Philosophy" didn't get a mention, although is is a whole series, not just a single book. I have been dipping into these for years (not to mention a few university essays!) and am always impressed by the scholarship of the author.

I would find this list better if it didn't have so many books on it that didn't belong.
