Well depends on how you view it.

Right now you have the opportunity to get a top quality reader with new technology that other readers are first now catching up to. You can get that reader real cheap at clearances.

I just bought mine and I couldn't be happier. Speculations about Sony potentially abandoning the reader or new technology coming out in a year has nothing to do with the product you are buying now.

So really a good time to get a steal on one of the best products out there

Yeah that! I'm just loving the way my Sony does collections out of Calibre tags! Now I can FIND a book, even when I can't remember title or author. I'm absolutely loving my Sony 950! I feel like it is top of the line for e-ink right now... and may stay that way for a while as well. I adore the 7" screen.

If you have extra $120 to use, i say go for the 350!! I also have the 505 for a few years and finally picked up the 350 few days ago. I love the size and the pink color it's extremely light and love love love the touch screen and dictionary function!

I'm actually leaning towards the Nook Touch now.

If I can get the PRS650 for 180 or less, I'll jump on it but it's never that low.

I have 650 and I'm very happy. The extra $ was worth it. But if I broke it tomorrow, I might get a Nook because of price. It seems very nice.

Maybe you could cross the border to pick one up? How does that work? Apparently you need a US address or something. I imagine you can get round it if you know what you're doing.

What's more it has a nice looking browser. On a downside it only supports epub and pdf, and it's pdf support is primitive.

Re: the Kobo, it looks nice too, but one button? And no annotations?

Re: the 350, I'm sure it's very nice but I wanted that extra inch

You should go for it or not? If your 505 is working, wait a bit. But the 650 is almost perfect if you don't care about wireless.
