New users having trouble registering

Speculation has been rife as to why they took the descriptions down. Since the company is counting on forum users to test the beta, best guesses are that the forum is secure -- for now! We'll see what tomorrow brings. Meanwhile, fellow users here and at MobileRead.com will be more help than most companies ever are, in my opinion.
