Hmm.. it doesn't work on Xournal on my N810. Do you just open the .esj file directly on Xournal for windows? (Without converting first?) There isn't a Xournal for Mac, so my little linux tablet is the only device I've tried for compatibility. I also couldn't get my N810's journal files to open on the edge.

Luntz's onenote conversion looks awesome, but I don't use Onenote. Ideally, I'd like my "journal"-y file to be able to open on all my devices as a journal-y file.

The esj is a zip file. Open it with a zip decompressor and then extract the content. Then you should be able to open it in xournal

I believe you need to remove the "TabName" entries in the XML, too... There's another thread somewhere on Xournal files and their slight difference from the variation the eDGe uses.

Right, I think remember that thread now. For some reason I think I mixed it up with someone's compatibility with One Note, or thought they were the same thing, or something. Or, I decided I wasn't going to test it out until we got home and I had access to the Tablet PC. (I found someone who had written about installing Linux on the same Motion Computing tablet we have, and I might have thought it would be easier to test on that machine.)
