I still keep meaning to use the archive/backup, but have never got around to it. Thanks for the reminder!

I haven't backed up to the archive, yet either. Does the archive backup keep all of your annotations/notes intact?

I just realized the ebook files for the library aren't completely inaccessible. When the eDGe is connected to a computer, the folder edge\.esi-content, which contains your library ebooks, is readable from the computer.
