Wishlist for next HW release of Entourage.

I agree with Chubulor that improving the software could go a long way to making the EE a better device, more so than most hardware improvements.

Since we are being nitpicking on hardware though, the rubber covers for the SD and Sim card slot seem very delicate. I use the Sim slot to transfer pictures directly from my camera and I am always afraid I will rip it by accident.

Certainly doesn't compared to the eDGe in terms of functionality, and the software experience (according to the video) is simply abysmal at this point. But perhaps with a robust software suite and a couple of dual mode displays around 10", this might be close to the blueprint of a future version of the eDGe? Just thinking out loud here.

Perhaps we should classify the input into three categories:

• realistically implemented within the next 12 months in an actual device
• technically possible, but cost prohibitive within the near term
• imaginary, fantasy, for amusement purpose only.

And the page turn rates are also very good. Maybe this is a portent of things to come with Entourage as well, I can hope.

Do you know? Sony and Kindle's Pearl e-ink is less pricey than EE's Vizplex. Pearl is another commercial name for the latest Vizplex, but the improvement is hardly noticeable.
We will have to wait a year more to see something better on the e-ink market
