Just recently purchased an EE. since it's main purpose is to be used as a tool in education (that's why I also bought it, reading / annotating papers; note taking ...) I would suggest to make a bibliography app. Already existing programs such as JabRef (open source written in Java) might be taken as a starting point ?

Here are some requests:
1.The ideal app for the Edge would be to make it possible to run arbitrary applications on the eink side. I think even cloning what you see on the LCD on the eink would be useful. For example for a drawing program we could use the eink to get precision but the LCD to play with colors and see how it looks, etc... 2. Evernote integration of the journals. The journal should be converted to images and then put in a note in evernote. This way we would get handwritting recognition and search. Here is the api http://www.evernote.com/about/developer/api/ 3. as an alternative handwritting search on the eink would be great |
