I'm still figuring out how this Kindle or iPad could help me in managing content!

@OncTech: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I can say that I could not be happier with my eDGe and its Kindle ability! Thanks for uploading the Kindle app.
Question: Does anyone know of a music notation app for andriod? Something like a Finale Notepad but an Andriod version? Thanks.... Brian |

Yeah! Thanks, @OncTech! Yes, eDGe stock (if there was an IPO) just went up! But, oh, no! I just realized I'm going to be spending even more money on ebooks--my Amazon Wish List just got WAY longer.

Thanks for uploading this!
This works nicely on an APad; which is really nice since they're around $100. I love the Kindle iPhone App, but some books are nicer to read on a larger screen. So far the only issue I've noticed is that it had a problem displaying a page using a saved bookmark from the iPhone App. I started from the beginning, and everything worked fine. |

A few glitches. One looks edge-specific.
I downloaded a whole bunch of free Kindle books last night. The app works pretty good overall. I do notice some quirks.
In several books I notice when the smaller font sizes are used the last letter on some lines are truncated. It looks like it renders the page slightly wider than it should and the right edge is clipped. Also, tapping in the center of the screen is supposed to bring up some information about the book and a slider at the bottom to move around the book quickly. The eDGe's giant menubar pops up to the front a moment after the Kindle app presents the slider obscuring the slider. Annoying. The app was stable for hours last night at home. Today, I've had a couple crashes in just a half hour. The only difference I can think of is the app is upset there's no wifi where I am now. Had more crashes in another location when I started the app before wifi was reconnected. Once wifi was working the app remained stable the rest of the time it was in use. Thanks to OncTech, the latest version of Kindle (December 2010) is available here: http://www.mediafire.com/?4or7i6bnoqzor36. This version offers magazine and newspaper support, and an integrated Kindle Store.

On your eDGe, click the link I posted in Post #26 and click the "Click Here to Download" link. Once the APK is downloaded, tap it to install the app.
