Yep, you're right. It seems that they still do not provide the language packs beyond the market. I got the German language pack via my phone... There is an option in the settings to donwload, but it only tries to download the packs via the market. I guess, they have forgotten to think about it, or they have not realised it yet. You should ask them by email, maybe they could send you the corresponding apk by email!

I tried swiping the same word several times, and every time, it returns a unique word. I finally uninstalled it when it appears that I'm wasting my time with it--I can't even make a short reply to an email. Is this just an LCD calibration issue?
Hmm, sorry about it. Have you noticed the two buttons "ABC" and "SlideIT" on the upper right of the keyboard? Hereby, you can switch between the usual tapping mode and the sliding mode. In sliding mode, you can see a blue line as feedback which keys you have passed...
Then you will see the guessed words along with other suggestions which you can select by clicking on them...

Thanks, cheyenne. I finally had the time and the patience to discover how to get it to work. I tried recalibrating the LCD screen. But I think my problem was I forgot that the eDGe has a resistive screen. So when I tried swiping with more pressure, I finally was able to get it to work accurately; with just an occasional error whenever I forget to press a little on the screen.

Thanks, too, szegan. I previously could not see the blue line consistently because I was swiping with a featherlight touch.

I added this to my Pocket Edge last night (1.13) and it runs like a dream. Incredibly better than using the standard keyboard. And the accuracy is great.

I installed this app a couple of days ago and got mixed results. Sometimes it worked as well as Swype on my Droid-X, then at other times it came up with the most unique forms of gibberish I've ever seen. Decided it wasn't worth fooling with and deleted it. Wish it worked more consistently.
