Same thing happened to me. I had my edge in tablet mode and turned the screen off via the lock button. Not sure when the LED on the scroll wheel went off but the green light on the power button is on but everything else is dead. I had to pull the batter because shutting it down and then powering it back up did nothing. Interesting. Of course I have a bunch of 3rd party stuff on it so who knows. I will try to keep a log of what I am running if and when this happens again.
