My K1 is still looking spiffy. I never put a skin on him and kept him in a cover. I used him every day for 18 months. He is in fine shape and very white.

I have the K3 3G in white, my wife the K3 WiFi in graphite. Overall, I find I prefer the white, but it's a small difference. She, OTOH, prefers the graphite, claiming it has better perceived contrast. Can't see it myself.

Every once in a while my Mother decides that she wants me to try on make up with some person or other. She thinks that this will eventually lead to my having a desire to wear make up. Apparently a flip is suppose to switch that has never switched in the past 40 years...

I am sooo white. I jokingly tell them that they need the vampiric white foundation for me. I burn if I am in the sun for 30 minutes. And not a little pink but I can't wear a shoe for a week red with blisters.

So I know white. And my K1 is most defintly white. (winks)

My sympathy. My summer colors alternate between fish-belly and cooked-lobster. I personally recommend the LL Bean wide brimmed boonie hat in ivory. And any good 50 sunblock.

My Kindle 3 is graphite, for no particular reason. With the 3G, which I'm slowly coming to appreciate, but which I don't view as mandatory.

I've got the graphite K3 wifi. I would have got a white one if it had been available but the colour of the Kindle is not so important as the performance. I've only had my Kindle for a little over a month and I'm very happy I got one.
