LOL! And I'm the opposite! Hate all the black electronics. The "old" Nook has a very thin black frame around the screen wich adds to the appearance of contrast, but the overall white bezel looks nice, in my opinion.
Would it be a boring world if everyone liked the same things!

I remember seeing a pie chart of what it costs Amazon to deliver a book to you via Whispernet over 3G. The piece AT&T got for delivery was OVER HALF of the total price of the book. I really think that 3G is a losing proposition for B&N (and probably for Amazon as well). Cell phone companies are extremely greedy, and I think it's only a matter of time before you're going to see a "3G surcharge" to download a book over 3G.

+1, I love the white plastic.

I actually traded Nook backs with a friend. I had the gray 3G back and he had the white WiFi-only back, and we both liked each other's better.

We can't be the only ones - the "white plastic" versions of gadgets almost always sell at higher price than the standard black plastic units.

Despite the nook classic being almost two years old, it's STILL the sleakest, more modern looking ereader on the market.

Man they did a great job on that design.
