Thank you emusan, woodpiledad, et al, for being such arseholes on my board, that your posts are doing an excellent job of flushing out the other goofballs from my board. Those who defend you and act outraged towards me, are obvious crazies, who'd only do damage to my forums.

You're a coupla drama queens whose only interest is to be sabotaging trolls, who want to wreck a board whose intent is only to provide continued community for another forum about to be shut down.

Anyone is free to read the threads on my board w/o signing up. In fact, it's most informative and amusing to read all your silly, mean-spirited posts. It's a whole form of entertainment in its own right...like the Jerry Springer Show!

No doubt you two nutjobs have every intent to gang up on my board with other loony trolls, until the damage is complete. All I can do is hang in there as long as I care to. I am amazed at the number of sh*theads coming out of this Mobile Read forum, and Entourage. You're certainly the rotten apples in this barrel.

it is truly your belief that we are all crazy and trying to take you down? I think you need to re-assess your situation. You have 1 active user on your forum, and about 45% ban rate. Thats not a great start(especially considering ~half those people have posted 1 time or less).

Paranoid. I have no intent of ever visiting your forum again, much less ganging up with anybody...in fact before today I had never had any interaction with any of the people in these forums!

Based on your name (Ezekiel is a Bible name) & hatred/fear of anything "Christian," I can only surmise that you were born into a "Christian" family & subsequently had some VERY bad experiences. As I've never walked a day in your shoes, I'd never judge you; and as I said in my last post on your forum I'll defend your right to your beliefs & opinions to my dying day...but seriously dude, you need to check that baggage at the door if you're going to run a forum like this. I mean, you violated your own rules in your last post on the "Fav App" thread ("I'm not interested in being a venue for...any other degrading attitudes")...it doesn't get much more degrading than your own last post. Very revealing. And sad.

And don't expect any more public responses from me...if you want to continue this discussion I'd be more than happy to do so via PM.

(I apologize for adding to this thread, but as the forum was announced here, it seemed appropriate so long as it doesn't become tedious)

I've read all the threads there. I didn't see anything to get in a twist over. emusan voiced his opinion -- we presume one based on his experience. Agree with it or disagree with it as you choose.

Check out the "What's your favorite app" thread. First one person cites a Bible app as his favorite and gets warned about proselytizing, then another person cites another Bible app, including what features he likes. Then we got a list of other religious book apps. No one said any of them was their favorite app. (which was supposedly the subject of the thread), and no one has cited their Bible apps are favorites because other religions are "icky-pooh".
Of course, if anyone favored ANY app, their opinion is, I'm sure, welcomed by all! There's no need for a Jihad!

If we have to list EVERY app of every type covered by anyone's favorite, just to be BALANCED, the thread ceases to be about "favorite" apps, doesn't it? Prompting for a "favorite app" is a REQUEST for OPINIONS. So let the opinions fly and sit back and watch.

I hope we all find plenty of good resources and venues for sharing information. I hope EdgeHackers becomes such a source. IMHO, that will happen with a little more freedom, and a lot less "moderating".

I got out of it as soon as I could

After reading very unpleasant posts by the forum "owner" (as he repeatedly makes a point of reminding everyone, "my forum"), I have decided to let him enojoy his own forum by himself and all alone.

It is not a place I recommend to any previous user of the EntourageEdge forum. Nothing valuable to be read there which is not posted elsewhere, and a lot of freaking banning and insulting people who simply have opinions. Quite toxic, it seemed to me.

A pity, but fortunately we have other more healthy places for exchange.

Since the only person who's attempted to be helpful got banned I probably won't be back.

Perhaps emusan's comment was cause for chastising, but it definitely didn't rank up there with an immediate ban.
