Justy, thanks for the review - and pity for the wrist turn (I think the version you installed is the same as the "pro" models - with my PB903 I have difficulty turning pages, but i thought it was because the devise is too large and "unwieldy", though it could be that there is a bug).
One question on the browser: is there a menu where you can change settings/save booksmarks, and the like? and does teh browser go into landscape mode?

I have just bought my "standard" 360, and already craving for yours - Marilyn, I agree with Poppea that you won't keep strong for long

I loved your review, thanks for sharing that with us

I've had my original 360 for around 14 months now and I loved it. The only thing that could have made it a fraction better for me was the ability to wirelessly transfer books from my laptop to my reader. I'm guessing that's possible with the Plus, yes?

I'm not trying too hard not to buy one My husband even suggested I buy on to keep for backup because I rave about home much I love my 360 all the time.

Yes. Standard file downloads are supported.
At the absolute worst case (no Calibre online export, no dropbox, no nothing) you can still publish a private web page listing your collection or email yourself individual files.

I should have taken a picture of that! Yes, the browser has landscape mode. I'm not sure about saving bookmarks, I haven't found a way to do it yet, but that could be my issue not the browsers. If it is possible in one of the Pro models that doesn't have touchscreen then likely the 360+ can do it too. I know that once you enter the password for an internet connection it will remember it for next time, this saves a lot of typing.

I was asking because the interface looks very much like the "link" browser that the Pro models use for news downloading - in the latest (beta) version of the pro firmware that browser still has no "settings" tab, at least as far as I can see, so I suspect this may still be the case with your "plus". But I think (and hope) that it will be fully functional with the next firmware release. Since a working browser was a long time promise for the 302, too, and since a new firmware for the 302 with an improved browser is possibly about to see the light of day, hopefully we'll all get some decent browser too - but then, I am an optimist

I got the wrist turn working! I was reading at Starbucks today and the page turned backwards on it's own without any intent from me. I was shocked but interested and changed the turn angle to 20° instead of 30°, This has done the trick! I'm sure it doesn't have to be 20° but that was my initial try. I am quite excited to have this feature back for fbreader180.

You can read mobi files on any Pocketbook readers, but it does not support Amazons copy protection, therefore you have to remove it to read Kindle purchases, but that's quite easy

Hi all!

Just received a Pocketbook 360 Plus and wanted to say thanks to everyone in this thread, especially Justy, for your insight and communication. I have my new device all setup with Cool Reader, FBReader180 (with wrist turn working), several themes and custom start/end screens. I am still fumbling with the buttons a bit, memorizing the various functions, etc. I still can't figure out how to get up to the top left navigation buttons in the browser, even if that is possible. Something I might share that could be helpful - if you want to use a theme and have problems with your applications vanishing, like was discussed on here before, create a "games" folder and copy your apps to that - nothing new here - BUT - if you create the folder on the SD card and copy your apps into it there, it won't get deleted every time you change themes, causing you to have to recreate the folder.

Has anyone experienced anything new with the browser? I am especially enjoying the RSS news function.

Hi Justy,
I'm so glad you posted this review of the 360+. I just got one and like the look of it but can't figure out how to get the buttons to work or what they do. How do you navigate through the menus? I just keep getting sent back to the previous page no matter which button I press. Is there some kind of trick to it.

What's the "wrist page turn"?
thanks

Page turns are almost instant, I have had to retrain myself, I can no longer click 'next page' just before starting the last line of text, the page goes away before I'm finished now!
Was reading your review and this part made me laugh out loud because I do the very same thing.

When will sales of the 360+ in the EU start? And why should EU customers have to wait at all?

Thank you SO much for this! This solved my problem of having FBreader on the 360+. I can't thank you enough. I am having difficulty with the flip though but since you had success I will keep trying.

Shoot, I just can't get it working even with setting the angle to 20...does someone have a video or can they describe how to do this?
