For baen books with newer versions of libprs500 all that should be required is

Code:

any2lrf book.zip

where book.zip is the zipped up HTML. Try it an see, I haven't really tested it.

I tried this with the zipped html-version folder directly dl'd, didn't work. libprs500 v 0.3.106. Got a couple of error messages: "Badzipfile: file is not a zip file" after the line "File zipfile.pyo", line 378, in _RealGetContents" and "libprs500.ebooks.UnknownFormatError: Could not find ebook in archive" after the line "File 'convert_from.py', line 99, in process_file"

Did I miss something here? (I cd'd to the directory containing the zipped html folder and ran the command.)

Does the zip file open with some other program? If so what is the structure of the contents of the zip file. i.e. how are the files in it laid out.

The Baen books (at least the longer ones) dl as a zipped folder. In the folder are htm files for the chapters (ISBN_chapter#.htm format) which have the chapter text along with next/prev links, a toc file (ISBN_toc.htm), a 'main' htm file (Booktitle.htm) which has a side menu on the page with direct links to all chapter numbers, a cover image (ISBN.jpg), an ISBN.opf file, and an ISBM.htm file which mimics the Booktitle.htm file. HTH.
