The problem turned out to be an errant task that was in the 'restore' folder. Having her delete the restore folder (the one underneath the (My) Digital Editions folder) took care of the problem for her.

I've had that been an issue when a download failed. It would pop up asking if I wanted to try again every time I ran ADE. But now if I get those, I just delete the task and it's not a problem.
