Release as a Novel or two Novellas? - Page 2

Just my gut reaction: If it's a closely-connected series, go with two novellas, since the first two installments were novellas, too. (Particularly if you're keeping the same cover scheme, etc.)

That is assuming that the first half of the story in question could stand on its own, and doesn't leave people with a cliffhanger... Except if that's what the series works like already. :P

@Anke - I think that's the route she's going to take. I'm not sure if you saw the books or were just making a general comment, but we plan on keeping the cover scheme for the whole series.

The plan is to continue to release them as $.99 novellas and then release an illustrated collected version for $2.99 or so (whatever the minimum is to bring Amazon's share down to 30% - man, these paintings are getting expensive...)

Yes, I had a look at the Smashwords page and saw they had matching-but-different covers.

Doing both gets my vote too. Nothing wrong with giving readers more options.
