I mean Kovid, sorry for that, it's just fast reading I assume ...
I use 0.7.59 so I can't see what you exactly mean but if I see the screen it doesn't answer my needs. Often I add a book and the author sort name is LN, FN. The author name is FN LN or something else, it doesn't matter. I would lik a button that copies the content of the author sort field to the author field. I.c., after a push on the button the authors name should be LN, FN and the author sort name should be LN, FN (like it was). I know I can achieve this by editing a number of books, but it would save me a lot of ctrl_c and ctrl_v if there was a button ... |

I've already seen and used it. I'ts what I meant when I asked for this functionality. It could be more convenient if one could determine (options) which function the button primary has. I would choose the second function. Then I wouldn't have to 'long, hold it click'...
