E-Reader Survey - Page 2

I have filled in the survey. I did have a problem with one question. The date of my first reader. I only knew the year but not the month and day. So I just put in numbers to answer.

Done. Well put together survey. Demographics are almost always in surveys, and with something like this, they aren't going to be able to track you down.

Nice survey!
I have no special problem with demographic information in surveys, except maybe about "race" which is irrelevant to my opinion (maybe because it is forbidden in official surveys in Europe).

About the most important feature for an e-reader, you missed some very important points to my opinion, like : autonomy, screen size/resolution, technology (e-paper, etc.), etc.

If I may make a suggestion, you often use the word "buy" when in regard to eBooks I think "download" or "read" might be more appropriate.

As Elfwreck has said, there are many eBooks available for free.

Are you interested in people's reading habits or in their spending habits?

I enjoyed clicking the buttons. Nice interface.

Agree with GA Russell's "buy" versus "download" suggestion. I download a lot more free books from mobileread (and other sources) than I buy ebooks from Amazon.

We've had three surveys in as many days. How many more term papers are people doing? And are we going to need to start a forum for these things?

That's actually not a bad idea. I just don't know how much Mobileread wants to encourage random surveys.

It's mid-term season. I expect we'll get a flurry of surveys around this time of year every year. I don't mind them; watching how the surveys have changed over time has been educational in itself.

what is your major, if you don't mind my asking?

I have somewhat created a survey (won't put it here) for a thesis class and they can be lot of fun (NOT) to create.

The only question that I had a problem with is the date I received my reader, I don't remember the exact date, so I just put one. I know it was at the end of summer, and the year, but that is all.
