I've had my new 650 outfitted with an Oberon case. I called them, and they told me that they found that the 600 cases made a good fit for the 650. They just don't have all of the designs currently on the site available. So, if you're interested in an Oberon case, give them a call. Mine fits very well.

Excellent news, that. Please post pics if you get the chance.

Tuff-Luv has great range of covers (http://tuff-luv.com/e-readers/sony-r...950-cover.html). I bought the saddle-back (http://tuff-luv.com/saddleback-tradi...rown-4519.html) one and simply love it! They may look bit pricey, but I rather pay bit extra for quality cover that protects the reader and is made to last than save few quid and buy a cover that doesn't do either.

Oberon "Tree of Life" design. It really is a beautiful cover. I originally wanted the DaVinci design, but it's one of the ones that are not available for the 600/650 cover. The light is not the best in these photos...

OK, so first attempt at uploading images didn't work. I'll edit, as soon as I figure out how to do it properly.

Thanks so much for uploading pictures, tmac -- your fellow Sony 650 users were quite unlikely to find them anywhere else.

Question: The corner holders look as if they might be loose. Is your 650 held in place quite securely when you travel with that cover?

You're making me think seriously about picking up a black 650 whenever Sony Store restocks them and immediately ordering an Oberon Bold Celtic case in Black or Saddle to go with it.

Not a problem. The corners are actually pretty secure - not loose at all...yet. I do worry that the one on the bottom left (facing the device) will stretch, as that corner is the last used when inserting the device, and the first used when removing it from the cover. Other than that, it's seated securely. I commute with it daily, and have not been worried about it coming loose, at all.

I must have gotten lucky, when I ordered my device, as the black was in stock. They didn't have the 650 in stock at all in the b&m store.
