They attract men as well! Or maybe they just use them as excuses to chat up my daughter.
 (She had several American guys approach her during her Latin American adventure and wonder what kind of Kindle that was.  )

Yes, this is true! Now that you mention it, I was asked by a sweet guy if it were a Kindle two or three days after I got it. Showed it to him so thoroughly that I missed my stop, which made me miss my next train and I had to walk through the snow for about half an hour in the middle of the night.
Well, *sighs* he was so young and looked so innocent.

I read at home, and bring it with me when traveling. I don't bring it out in public around town much - on public transportation I prefer audiobooks to drown out the conversations of other passengers in which I am definitely not interested.
