Well, yes ... I have the DTV, several times over; but it's ebooks we're talking about here, and I have so far been able to resist the darknet. So I am a "man" and I'm "in the known universe who is even remotely interested in the Harry Potter franchise" and I don't have a copy. But I want one, and am willing to pay for it.

I will buy the ebooks when they are available. Until then, I will read the versions I have on my kindle.

Loved the movies, but not really a fan of the books so I won't be buying them in either format. I do own some of the movies though.

Honestly I thought that most explanations I read were rather insulting to American children! Fortunately the later books were allowed to keep their original titles. Apparently American children had shown they were actually clever enough to work out what Deathly Hallows were! One thing I've often wondered though is which versions were sold in Canada? In Australia we had the original versions.

The first week the Beatles were available on iTunes (back in November), they sold 2 million individual songs and 450,000 albums. In one week, in 2010. I think that Rowlings would have a similar success (or more so; her books are *heavy*).

They could cease printing her books altogether and she'd have enough money left over to buy Iceland.

I was talking about e-books as well! They are readily available...though not legally.
