I get motion sick if I read in a car or bus, trains are OK.

I read whenever I have the time or mood for it, I don't like to force myself to read.

I read only one book at a time, if I read two or more I get characters and stories confused

I like to read during my daughter's two-hour figure skating classes. Really great opportunity to have some time for a great story.

I read in the cafe-shops when I want to show what kind of nerdie I am (people don't use ereaders in Finland, it is concidered a high-tech nerd-machine).

I read whenevr I need to prove myself that I didn't waste more than hundred euros just to own a high-tech toy

Usually, it's medieval or other historical fiction or biography, in bed, snuggled up with my dogs.
If it's cold enough for a fire, I'll move to the sofa by the fireplace.
If it's sunny and mild, outside in the swing.
The only other time is in waiting rooms.

But I also listen to TTS on the Kindle while driving or out on a walk, even through a store - just using one earbud so I'm not totally oblivious.

Anywhen, anywhere, anytime, any transport mode, any excuse...............

I think something on the order of at least 2-3 per week, on holiday this doubles easily.

And I don't what others have found, but as a pretty swift reader anyway, I'm even quicker with the 650.

Must save time swiping rather than turning - 'cept the occasional time I've found myself trying to "turn" the reader !

Mostly in bed with the light off - that's a lot easier to do with my Reader than with a paperback! My wife appreciates the extra sleep she gets as a result.

What was probably meant was reading another book before finishing one. Say in morning another one and evening another one. I do the same. Of course not reading two books at the same time.

It would be nice though to split brain's processing power and visual aids and be able to read two books at the same time.

The only requirement is time. I'll read whenever I have the time.

But there are sometimes times when I don't feel like reading. Those are the times when I catch up on sleep

When there isn't anything interesting on TV (which seems to be most of the time) and in bed before going to sleep.

Lounging on the sofa, propped up is my preferred position (it is also good for reading! )

I typically read every day on my lunch break, on my Kindle Android app.

At home, I usually use my Xoom for reading on the couch, and typically with the TV on. Some people like to listen to music, I like to "listen" to crappy sitcom reruns. It relaxes me, I guess.

On the road (say, a business trip) I either take my Xoom or my Kindle (first gen) with me. I tend to favor the Xoom because it's multi-purpose, though if I expect I'll be doing a lot of reading I take the Kindle for the e-ink. E-ink is definitely easier to read, but my job is to stare at a screen and read all day anyway so it doesn't affect me as much.

If I read at home in bed it's almost always a physical book. I don't know why, exactly, but the bed seems to be a great place for a real dead tree book.

I read whenever I get an opportunity at home. Best is generally during my first cup of coffee, since I am the first one out of bed and generally undisturbed for at least 10 minutes ... other times are generally between solving issues regarding shouting children, groceries, cooking, more shouting children, dishes, washing, getting aforementioned mentioned children in bath/bed etc.

Seems interesting to me wagedomain that you have several readers. How come you have not chosen to combine them into one device?

I take my e-reader at work and since I have lots of free time I indulge myself there, pretty much all the time as I don't really use my device anywhere else.
