Think iTunes, you buy an app or song....best keep a copy because if you delete it by mistake best pull out the credit card and buy it again. I recently did a factory reset on my android phone, and all the apps I had previously downloaded (all free) were gone from my phone which is fine, but when I logged into the Android market it listed the apps I had previously downloaded as "recommended" and the next time I logged in to the android market the list was gone. Buggered if I know all the apps I had on there.

I don't understand the title of this thread. In what way have Amazon "locked up" anything?

Mine are! Well; except for my wife's car, and my livingroom TV set (it's an old one that doesn't have HDMI). And yes, a personal colud does make sense.

The one thing the android app market does tell you is what apps you have purchased so that you may re-install them. =X=

well after close to 2.5 hours of downloading, I must say using it on my phone this moring was pretty sweet. Very easy to navigate etc. sounded great. still will keep using my Sansa until cell phone company's and battery manufactures can get on the same page. But so far so good. |
