![]() I plan to go to Barnes & Noble this weekend to see if one of their covers will work. Love my Kobo though. Just wish I could take it out "into the wild" but want to give it some protection. ![]() That Canadian company (Indigo???) has some really nice ones on their website, but every single one of them is SOLD OUT!!! ![]() |

I purchased an M-edge zip-up Kindle cover for my Kobo when it goes out to play. It is a rare event as my Sony PRS-300 serves that function.

search kobo covers on amazon there is no end to different covers. I have one by dermapad that works great, portfolio type with a good magnet on it. It folds back and latches open for easy reading. Cheep at 16$ or so. My daughter has a similar cover also from amazon but not the dermapad one. Equally protective but a bit stiffer than the dermapad one. Also under 20$.
No need to get to creative with making your own cover unless you like that sort of thing. There are lots of cheep options on amazon. |

This is the one my daughter has
http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Border...462646&sr=8-40 and this is mine http://www.amazon.com/Kobo-eReader-L...0462752&sr=8-2 The dermapad one is more expensive now than when I bought it. |

The dermapad one is actually the one I bought and am returning. I really don't like it - no padding and can't fold it back. The other one I have actually been considering. Looks like it actually HAS some padding, and can fold back easily. (wish it didn't have that tab closure, but oh well.. Thanks again everyone, Rene |

You must have a different dermapad than I have because mine folds back super easy and the magnet latches it open. As for padding not sure why you would need pading when closed the screen doesnt touch the inside of the case because the case sits on the bezel of the kobo and the cover is firm so unless you sit on the case your kobo will be safe.
Anyway good luck finding what you are looking for. |

As for the padding, I'm just looking for a little cushion. It just seems like a thin piece of cardboard covered by a think piece of leather. Thanks |

I also got the Kobo at a Borders that was closing, and purchased this cover for it:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004BOECTG It arrived very quickly and the Kobo fits in it well. The upper right elastic partly covers the power button but it is still usable. I like that it stands up like an easel as I often read while I eat. |

I ended up getting the one linked below. I love it. I thought the closing tab would bother me, but it does not in the least. (You can actually fold it back and the magnet holds it together, but I don't even do that.) It folds back nicely to hold with one hand, nice protection, place for business card/note paper. I give it a 5 out of 5.
Very satisfied! ![]() http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Border...1335126&sr=1-5 |

they probably did what i did and looked quickly at it to see how the kobo looks inside the product without checking the minute details. pretty funny when you take the time to look at it. |
