i've only read the first 2 (i have part 3-5 coming as x-mas presents). any irritation i've felt by some of the dryness is erased by the battles that are so epic that i'm almost crying tears of nerdly glee lol.

I've just started Mission of Honor. I had trouble getting back into that universe again- now if I had read it right after reading the last one, it wouldn't have been an issue- so I decided to try the audiobook version, I htought my brain might take the infodumps a little better if they were read to me by someone else. The experience has been... interesting. A lot of the voices, including Honor's, is not exactly how I imagined these characters. I may have to go back to the ebook.
