I added it to my wishlist on Amazon to remind me about it.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Just an update to let those who were interested know that "Hounded" is finally published and up for sale.

(I've got a longer review up on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2UGPLD...cm_cr_rdp_perm)

Loved it. I was left with only one question. Just how many French Poodles does one Irish Wolfhound really need?

I think the answer to that one might be "as many as it takes" - lol.

Didn't you just love Oberon's plans to raise the Horde again?

I picked the audiobook up from Audible using one of my credits there and enjoyed it just as much as the printed version.

Bought this on your recommendation late last night. Got to the 3rd chapter before crashing on the couch. So far it is a great read. I haven't read a book like this in so long. It is scratching an itch I didn't know I had. Thanks for pointing it out. Kevin Hearne is going on my must read list.

READ THIS BOOK!

NOW!

EDIT
Well I finished the book. It absolutely stole my monday! What a great read. I can't wait for the next book. This is not my typical genre but it might be now. If anyone else who has read this can recommend me some others like this one I would be grateful.

Oooh, yes, this book was wonderful and my e-version had 2 extra short stories at the end for added fun.

Can't wait for the next one!

Thank you, Joykins—and all of you—for giving me a try! I purposely wanted to include some extras for ebook readers since you're paying the same price as for a paperback, so those short stories were my way of adding value. I'm including another bonus short story with the ebook edition of HAMMERED; it's called "A Test of Mettle," and it's told from Granuaile's point of view.

Thanks again for trying out a new author and spreading the word!

Thanks for stopping by, Kevin! It's always appreciated when the author keeps in touch with his/her readership. And as you can tell, we've been getting a kick out of Hounded.

That was a great idea - to give the ebook readers extra value for the price.

Of course, now I'm going to have to pick up that version of the book, too, to get those short stories.....
You are turning into one of those of a handful of authors that I read for whom I have all the various formats of their books.
