So the epub issue in 0.7.46 has been pinned down. good work.
May I inquire as to why the plugin for cover download from LibraryThing has been deleted and replaced by Amazon? Do they need to be mutually exclusive, or can we add back the LibraryThing plugin? I'm just sentimental as I've been a member of LibraryThing for ages. |

I have no desire to maintain that plugin. Given that LT randomly blocks calibre every 3-5 queries, it leads to hard to reproduce bug reports. And it makes it very difficult to debug and maintain the plugin

so, is it concluded that 7.46 will work so long as I'm not spanish, or do we still await feedback on which OS installs fail or are bugged. I have win 7 64 bit, I have not updated yet because being able to work on epubs is a critical feature for me ?

The difference in thread number that you might be seeing, Cybmole (between what is displayed in the browser URL bar while viewing these posts, and the URL you see in the status bar when you mouse over that link), is simply the difference between the "full" version and the mobile version of MobileRead. The link is, as Dwanthny says, to post #15 in this thread, where Kovid says:

OK - I get the URL thing
there seemed to be at least 2 bugs being reported in this thread so I wanted to check that the "spanish" explanation covered all |

It was the strings in one place you had
<<%s%>> which was the translated version of "%s" Note the extra % which caused the problem. The translations are run through an automatic checker before merging, but for some reason the check didn't catch this error. |
