I like iBook and its software design. But tried Stanza last night and is more customizable; one of the things I like better, is the ability to reduce margins and night reading mode. It provides Calibre integration too.

Hmmm...

Just read in Engadget, that Apple will have a press conference in March 2 and main topic is going to be the iPad2!

Now in doubts if I should return this one instead! Not sure about when will be available for public, but I got the feeling will be thinner and maybe lighter.

Kind of annoying and weird that I had no USB though, really miss that. Spend several min learning how to upload stuff into iPad, using DropBOx or even the same Goodreader. It feels really strange not having file access or USB conectivity.
Try the free iPhone Explorer. It lets you browse the files and folders on your iPhone as if it were a normal USB flash drive.

Yeah, i was a tad gutted with the upcoming (rumoured) iPad2 announcement, considering i only just got an iPad.
Them's the breaks though... it still runs the important programs for fine; iBooks, Goodreader, iElectribe R and iMS-20

goodreader for pdf's....of course!
the only good thing (if you can call it that) about ibooks is the animated page turns.
meh, no thanks.

you just bought it? (sorry, didn't read the rest of the thread).
I would think about taking it back then if you can. the first one is about to drop in price plus there will be a glut of them used for cheap now too.
and ipad 2 will be about the same price most likely.

it will be thinner no doubt. faster too, as well as a front and rear camera.
well, so they say.
