Well i've pretty much decided (with all of your help). I'll be picking up a PRS-350 next time I go through duty free.

I'll just need a case for it then.

And for lack of light, you can choose the lighted case or the standard case and a small lamp that you can clip on the back cover. I prefer it in this way because I don't use a lot the light, but it's handy in some cases.

I thought I'd drop back in here to say how I got on.

Well, I've had the 350 for about a month now.
  • The change of screen from 6" to 5", hasn't been an issue at all.
  • The contrast improvement is something I didn't think would be that big a thing, but I've got to say its made a real difference.
  • I haven't missed the light at all so far, I imagine due to the improved contrast and screen resolution.
  • The dictionary has been surprisingly useful.

All in all I think its been a good purchase.
