Interesting! I'll have to remember that when helping others. I wonder if this would have helped rogerperk who had the same issue as you? He resorted to restoring to stock and re-rooting. I guess it wasn't a total waste; he updated to 1.0.1 and 1.1.0 along the way. Maybe it was just 1.1.0.

This issue is a problem with the stock BN android build. This problem likely doesn't exist with Nookie Froyo or honeycomb. BN might fix it in a future update if their third-party app developers need the function. It doesn't just fail in Zeam, the problem also exists in other launchers. It's unlikely that future autonooters will start fixing BN-native bugs like that (but possible if the fix is really simple).

However, you absolutely can put books on your launcher home page and Zeam launch bar. See the Desktop Visualizer workaround.
