Sorry I'm so late to post here, but I can also add some relevance to this discussion.

I too have OliveTree on several different devices.
In my opinion, OliveTree is at it's pinnacle on the iPad. It runs superbly and has features which make it a perfect union with the iPad.

The same can't be said for the Android version of OliveTree. I have it on both a tablet and on a phone. It's quite basic, runs slow, and doesn't offer the same features or strength as it's iPad counterpart. I even prefer a couple other Bible readers for Android which do a better overall job.

So, at this point in time... if you haven't made a purchase yet, and if your decision is still "which tablet to run OliveTree on", to me there's only one real answer to that question.

As of April 2011, no matter how good the Android tablet might be, if the software doesn't do it justice, you will only be disappointed unless your OliveTree needs are at their most basic.

Oh, I know. Although I like Android for almost everything else, the iPad calls to me just for OliveTree. I haven't bought anything yet (well, the Nook that was on sale to try as a ereader), but plan too sometime this year. The one exciting thing is that OT is working on it's Android platform. They are asking for beta testers and have released some info--they have split screens and...something else I think (can't remember right now)?

But right now I know it would be a really pared-down version. I think it depends on if they improve OT on the Android platform before I get tired of waiting

Thanks!
