PRS-350 Some questions about my new reader - Page 2

Yikes! Be careful driving home! I see on the news that Southwest has cancelled all flights today at Love field. Hopefully the weather improves before the Superbowl.

On the topic of sorting books, does the sorting you put in place for your collections stick? For my book list it does, but for collections, it doesn't. Wondering if this is an issue with my reader or the PRS 350 in general.

EDIT: I'm talking about sorting the books within collections, not the collections themselves.

On my PRS-650, no mater what sort I last used for a collection, whenever I re-open that collection (or another one), the sort order always reverts back to 'by Added Order'.

Yah, that's the same thing as my PRS 350, thanks.

One of the nice features of Calibre is that when you add a book to a collection you can specify (and change) the sort order.

The Big Sleep: Marlowe [1]
The Little Sister: Marlowe [2]

I'm not aware of a similar functionality in Sony Reader Library.

Yes, the Sony software allows you to order your books within the collection to however you want. Your books show as a list within the collection. You just drag and drop the book titles up and down within the list to put them in your preferred order.
