Kindle DXG for my SQL and technical books. Kindle 3 for text or mainly text books, like non fiction or novels. And recently Galaxy Tab for work/internet/games/short reading sessions.

For heavy work at home I do have a Compaq laptop running Ubuntu Lucid 64 bit plus Ubuntu headless server (running apache, mysql and 3 virtual machines via Virtual Box) I paid 50 dollars for that server on ebay, hahaha, rebuilt and now works like a charm.

Wife has an eeepc dual boot: Lubuntu and Win 7. Got to use windows because Netflix, we use that one sometimes while traveling.

I have a Kindle for ebooks and a desktop computer for everything else. Everything.

Laptop: 13" so it's reasonably portable but still large enough for all my computing needs.
Sony 300: for reading anywhere
Phone (Nokia 5800): phone, mp3 player (not often), lists and notes, games, camera when without one
Camera: 2 - panasonic FZ7 and FT1

I have a no name brand mp3 player but I rarely use it.
I'm looking for a tablet to take travelling instead of lugging the laptop around. I almost bought a netbook but I'm glad I waited - I'd much prefer a slate form factor. Will wait to see what comes out.

Main computer is a desktop. But I also have laptops/notebooks -- nothing very new. I quite like the idea of a tablet for travel but I'm waiting a bit to see how it all plays out. Blackberry for phone functions and occasionally internet and GPS. Very occasionally as a camera.

I got my K3 at the beginning of September and love it. I might eventually consider getting something like the Sony PRS 650 if I can persuade someone to get it for me as a present as I would prefer to have a device that could read ePub as well as my K3.

Desktop - self-built dual Phenom unlocked to quad / SSD / etc
Laptop - HP TX2 tablet convertible on win7
Tablet - rooted Nook Color
E-reader - Nook

My cellphone is a Win6.5 HTC Touch Pro on Boost mobile - I'm not a believer in big cellphone bills. Might go to Virgin soon like the wife, since the LG Optimus Android phone is coming out soon.

I had an Ipod touch for music and apps, but the NC replaced the apps. We gave it to our daughter for christmas. I only really miss it in the car for music. Will need to get something eventually for the car.

Looking for a digital device to read my music scores.

It needs to be large and fit on a music stand
Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.

THank you!

Perhaps you'd be better off starting thread on that.
