Are you sure you weren't selecting the US copy of the Kindle version?
Try to search for the title/author independently logged into your Amazon account. It should only show you entries available to Australia in the first instance.

i've been wanting this book for a while now, since i finished the 'first law' trilogy, so happy to see it cheap!
i'm in australia as well, bought it from diesel ebooks with my credit card.. with an american address attached to it. sometimes they don't check against the address.. this seems to be one of those times.
