If they haven't replaced the smoothie coupon on the nook and you are in the store try and see if they will still honor it. I was in the store a few days after the cheesecake coupon expired but it was still on my nook so I went to see if they would still honor it and they did! Worst they can say is they will not honor an expired coupon. KWIM

The current coupon doesn't work in Salt Lake City. I went in with my regular nook a few weeks ago and the cafe lady told me they don't even have the smoothie syrup anymore, as it's a summer item. She said she is annoyed that B&N hasn't changed that promo. I asked for a free tall coffee instead and she said sure.

So, seems B&N's little nook promos aren't consistent nationwide. Who wants a smoothie when it's 15 and snowing anyway?

FREE offers vary upon availability from store to store. Also, some stores honor substitutes, whereas others DO NOT.....I never got a chance on the smoothie offer, my store never had all the ingredients to go in it (I kept getting the "Next Week" runaround). I'm sure I could have whined to the manager about it but didnt feel it was worthwhile (10 degrees outside)....Maybe the next free offer will be better AT ANOTHER STORE....

OK, one store their wifi network is SO WEAK it didn't work in their cafe and so when I went to get the cookie the coupon disappeared from my nook. Lady at the nook desk said she'd take care of it but I had run out of time and didn't want to deal with it.

The other store, I walked in and just showed my nook to the guy at the nook desk without even waking it up and he gave me the chocolates.

I'm partial to that second store

I haven't kept great track, but once a month seems standard, though I think I've seen some variation. And the coupons only seem to be for cafe items. (Could be wrong on the second point, but they've only been for cafe items in the last 6 months unless we missed a short one, and I've only ever seen people talking about coupons for cafe items.)

They've had a few percent-off coupons, but none have been very great: like 10% off a CD or magazine. There was one for good percentage off Nook accessories, but this was before the NookColor came out.
