Falling to the bottom of page one again so bumping to bring it back up.
At the time I am doing this I would say about 75-80% of the posts are for NC.

I hope the admin does something. With over 85% of those voting wanting to separate the forums. Lets hope they are listening.

It really makes sense to make subthreads for the different devices. It's just too hard to keep up with device specific forums.

I would rather keep them in the same thread. I have both devices and I would prefer not having to check 2 threads to know what's going on. And the current NC tag should be enough to filter NC specific threads.

The issue is that some aren't using the color prefix. Particularly those who are new to the forum or new to starting threads.

Edit: Looking at the first 3 pages of the sub-forum this doesn't appear to be the case anymore.

So, maybe a handful will be posted without the color prefix?

It really doesn't make a difference to me, but I can understand why some would want separate sub-forums. Again, a root prefix would be great or better yet, a sub-forum.

I have both devices, but I would prefer to have them separate. usually my comments/questions are specific to the device and not general.

The problem is that you can only filter on the Color tags. I can't filter on threads without a tag...

I agree. If I still only had the classic Nook I would now find this forum nearly completely useless. A 'classic' or 'eInk' or even "non-rooted" tag or separate forum is needed to cover the BN Nook as a dedicated ereader. This has become just another android tablet forum. And I say this as someone who has a rooted NookColor and thinks it is peachy keen and that much of the discussion here about it is great.

Well someone from admin responded on the feedback forum that they are looking over ways to possibly separate the nook forum. YEA!
