It maybe that that particular make, model and capacity of SD card is not compatable
with your jetBook. In any case, anything more than 4GB is overkill for an ebook library
SD card for a device. If you want the extra storage for another purpose, MP3s or data
then you might want to consider that MP3 Players can provide better music performance
than a jetBook's audio player and that a little clip type MP3 player is no more difficult to
carry than the earphones that you need to listen to your jetBook.

You could use the sticky in the upper portion of this forum to obtain and flash the
firmware to the latest version for your device. Even if you already have that version
installed, reflashing may correct a corruption causing your issues. Also the three folders
include some data that (I believe) supports some of the Diagnostic Screen functions.

But again - Even if you get the jetBook's SD functions working as you want them to,
I would advise not using the jetbook's SD functions to maintain your SD card library.

PS; The "mtd4" test will fail with most firmware versions installed.
