worked in the latest calibre version.
I installed the latest calibre version 0.7.59 on the notebook (ubuntu 10.10) and now it works fine. is this recipe already synced to the latest calibre - does calibre always download the latest recipes off the net?

It's actually an advanced question. Yes, calibre tries to grab the latest recipe version off the web. If it can't, it uses the local copy. The local copy is updated when calibre is updated (to a release that contains the updated recipe). The net copy is updated when Kovid updates it.

The Brand eins recipe is no longer functional due to a major website redesign. I opened a new thread at
