ive had some ghosting but not much, i agree with the above about a hard reset and then contacting sony.
I highly doubt there is any quality difference between the screens kindle gets and sony. |

Hi, this is exactly what I've discovered. I've dutifully read and watched every review I could find online, and noone's mentioned this. It's most annoying. Like in your pictures - what have you done, taken it back?

i own both sony & Kindle - i see more ghosting on sony. it is evident after plugging in to PC then ejecting - I can faintly see the home screen with its book thumbnails through the battery charging screen. it is not an issue when actually reading a book though.

Yep I have that sometimes. Turning a page again, twice at most fixes it. It seems to be an idiosyncracy of e-ink.
