Removing image from SD card - Page 2

Yeah....I guess I could get the new card first....and try the copy/paste before reformatting the current card....
But I'm gonna need to reformat/remove partition on the current card anyways.....since there isn't much room left

It should work. I've done the same thing with the SD card for my phone. I needed to use it for something and didn't feel like running out buying another one. I maintained the directory structure and copied everything back.

OK, I see it....but that selection is transparent....
I can only click on SD card memory or Unmount SD card (I guess I should be using that feature when I take the card out, I've been turning the nook off, before removing/installing the card)

You have to unmount first then format. It's a safety thing for your benefit.

Worked....Thank you....

Now....let me go search on backing up what I have stored on my NC's hard drive......
unless its the same....just take everything in the media folder and copy it to my computer somewhere....
