Yeah, I was shocked that I'm able to sync my Outlook calendar with Gmail without paying for a solution.

Here's my Pure Grid Calendar widget. I like having the option to just show the dots on the days that have events instead of displaying the event name. When I click on the top of the widget, my calendar within Jorte opens to full screen. This allows me to quickly see what those events are. Very nice. Also, adding events with the widget is quick and easy.

Great find Krypto!

help after install

I'm new to both the nook color and android and the market place. But, I'm pretty sure I'm successfully rooted it, I can download apps, etc (angry birds ran great )

Anyway, I have pure grid calendar installed and it shows up as "installed" in the market downloads screen.

But, I can't figure out what to do next. How do I get the widget on the home screen. I think I'm still using the nook home screen. Does that need to change?

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

You need to install a replacement home screen (launcher). Krypto and I use ADW. When you long press on the home screen (ADW) there is a list of choices. Choose Widgets, then select Pure Grid Calendar.

Also, download Home Switcher from Market.

Wow, thanks for the quick response.

Can I try one more?

I'm not confident in my uninstalling skills on this thing just yet.

Home switcher (by ymst) says "won't work on froyo" -- is that the one I want.

Somewhere I thought I saw that the nook was "froyo."

Thanks again for helping out a newbie.

We don't have Froyo. That's supposed to be coming in an update.
