I have several issues with that:
* There is no review of epub ebook (no info on font types, sizes, margin settings etc.)

* The "strange looking fonts" mentioned while showing manual PDF file made me lmao! What the guy was referring to was a bitmap embeded into the PDF file! No wonder the standard compression made the pixels "looking strange" on it...
* No settings menu and its contents were showed - I really was very eager to see what kind of potential lies there (if any )
well to correct the previous review I have to say that it seems that the "looking strange" text maybe is a problem of the pdf tested..
it seems that the manual looks strange even on a pc ! didn't tested personally.. but readed around.. you shoud do a try to be sure..
I saw some pictures of different books on it and they seems good.. but I should see personally..
even the evaluation of the zoom need to be corrected.. it is based on a fixed ratio but after you zoom you can center the text on the screen with fingers, and after you press to change the page it remember both the zoom and the centration of the text..
another new problem seen is that there is a 0,6 cm column on the left that can never be used with or without zoom.. so the real screen is less than 9 inches , being alwais present the bottom bar and this side column.. and there is no fullscreen option..

well again this told the working of the device while reading is at the moment very sluggish .. but I somehow trust that asus can improve it being a big producer and not a small company like irex..
