My treadmill has a lip at the bottom so it's easy to prop my Kindle on it. Since I only walk due to arthritis slippage is not an issue.

His point is that you should be getting your heart rate up high enough that you should have trouble holding a conversation or reading. My Spin Instructors say the same thing about working out on the stationary bikes. You can get a good workout on them but you have to push yourself. If you are able to read or talk to someone you are not maximizing your work out.
(shrugs) It makes sense to me. |

I know what he meant, I guess what I was referring to is that because so much of our lives are now based upon muti-tasking. It just seems as though there aren't enough hours in the day. I meant to make no specific reference to the gym or exercise, only reference was to how short the days are and how busy our lives are these days

... I'm not planning on sprinting and reading my kindle at the same time. Not only that, it's not like I'm going to be benching and reading my Kindle. I just want to read my Kindle while on a 40 min jog, and I just need to know what kind of case will be good enough to hold the kindle in place.

I just got my Marware silicone case today, and I can contest that it adds a lot of grip to the kindle, so there's a less chance of falling, but also it's fairly resilient to protect from falls.
