PB 903 was scheduled for end of Nov.. Now it seems to be end of Dec..
Same is true for M-Reader which seems to have the same specs as the 903.
The ability to pre-order or order a device didn't mean you will get it soon.

You can't really compare the 1024 x 768 px to 1200 х 825 because you have 9" instead of 9.7". The DR900 doesn't have touchscreen, the DR950 does. And like pocketbook, the one without the touchscreen is sent out first.

So I'm going to call this sour grapes, and pray that I get the 903 before X-mas.

good to know.. but looking at the specs I notice it says 9 inches screen, not 9.7 inches.. I guess it has a smaller screen than the pocketbook
thus it is even explained the smaller resolution..
on the other hand I'm quite sure that the battery will last more..

th Mreader and the DR 900 both use Sipix displays and both have the same touch screens because Sipix adds the touch layer at the factory when they are making the epaper.

The asus dr 900 screen is capacitive. Does this mean it is the same as the iPad screen except one is LCD while the other isn't? I like to use fingers to "touch" screen but don't like to use fingers to write on the screen. I can't imagine how to use fingers to actually write small characters for PDF annotation.

You are right. And there are differences between what is on the ASUS website and on the website that gives the price: the internal memory is 2Gb, not 4, the weight is 440g without built-in 3G and 473 with built-in 3G, not 370g, and it also supports FB2, ZIP/CBZ.
