I also read during the install process that it will allow you to play many java games that you couldn't before. Haven't tried it yet, but will and post results.

Yes, it was posted a little ways back, but if you download the skyfire browser, you can watch videos. Works great.

I loaded 2 mp4 movies on my IQ - one was a bit laggy and the other was pretty decent. Still need to get the sizing right.

I used mPlayer to watch them.

Not sure on .avi or rmvb...

Try the realplayer app. I know that it plays everything and of course what software was used to root this device

The updated firmware is supposed to include one.
The dictionary app supports the same format as the eink Pocketbooks, as many as you choose to feed it.

The battery looks to last 5-7 hours for reading at a minimum (with Wifi enabled full-time).

Right now it's not possible to root it as you need to toggle on the debug-mode, which seemingly is not possible in the IQ.

The updated firmware contains an English-English dictionary.
