What? Why isn't the date it was picked up counted? After all, it's in transit.

Personally, I think expedited delivery charges are a scam and I never pay extra.

The day it's picked up doesn't count towards the delivery date because packages are picked up in the afternoon/end of business day. It will probably start moving that day towards midnight. However, the clock doesn't start ticking in regards to delivery date until the next business day after the package is picked up.

The good new is that my Nook color was delivered at 9.15 this morning US time to my freight forwarder. I am just waiting for them to load it on their site so I can get it sent to me in Australia.
